I went to visit this formation on Friday 08th June, 1 day after it was reported. My first thoughts were from having seen the aerial photo that this formation was rather intriguing to say the least.  I arrived around 2.30pm on a hot sunny afternoon and there was nobody about so I went to have a look. As the wheat is still young much of it was already recovering from the stomping it had received by whatever "hoaxing team" set about making this. I saw evidence of poor workmanship almost everywhere I looked - much of the flattened crop was damaged and untidy - I saw lots of evidence of "kinking", wonky straight lines and not so curvaceous curves. To its credit from a distance up on Milk Hill it didn't look all that bad, it must be said. So all in all its a shame this field was targeted as we have seen some REAL beauties here in the past.
